I was really not feeling working out today. It took me several hours to come around to it. I hate when this happens, especially if I wake up earlier and have plenty of extra time I could be utilizing productively, but my brain and body have other ideas. It's hard to push through those feelings on days like today. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized I have nothing else more important I could or should be doing; nothing else that would make me feel better or happier, so I just resigned myself to do it. And I'm so glad I did, because thankfully I felt dramatically better after I got it done. If you've got a case of the Mondays too, come get this 15 minute workout done with me and see how much better and more energized you feel after...

You don't have to deprive yourself this holiday season, I certainly do not, but I don't let myself go overboard either. I explain how this is possible further down. In the meantime, you need less than 15 minutes to try this super fun plyo workout. You won't believe how quickly you'll be able to get back to what you were doing...
I really wanted to give up during this workout today, but I don't allow myself excuses other than an illness that physically prohibits me from moving, which thankfully is a rare occurrence. I was in a fairly significant amount of pain today, though, but I didn't want to let that stop me. Maybe I'm crazy to push through something like that, but as this typically happens a day or 2 each month (sorry fellas, I am indeed referring to my monthly visitor) I don't see it as a valid reason not to move. It feels better to keep up with my workouts and keep going like normal; and exercise is supposed to help with the cramping and pain that can occur. I don't really find this to be true for me, but it still helps me feel better in other ways: I feel more energized, it improves my mood, and those benefits are worth it to me. This serves me better than just lying around; plus my workouts are short, so if I really want to, I can always lie around after I get it done. Come try today's workout with me, I'm curious to know if it was just my condition or if this workout really is pretty tough...
Today's workout is perfect for when you feel too busy to keep up with your workouts, like during the holiday season. This only takes 15 minutes, less if you go faster than me, and it's a bodyweight workout; you need no extra equipment or weights, just you, so no excuses! Come get it done with me and then get back to your decorating or baking (or whatever else you need to do)...
This was tough, I really struggled. I couldn't even make it through the buy out at the end. Not every day is going to be the easiest or best workout, but I got through it, and that is a victory. Come try out today's with me to burn off some of those Thanksgiving calories...
