It was hard for me to take my own advice today. But I had this new workout planned and ready to go, so I got myself through it. Come get it done with me...
This workout has both a Buy In and Buy Out of 20 competition burpees; between them is 3 rounds of:
5 sets of - 4 squat pass under and 5 goblet squats
40 alternating one arm kettlebell swings
10 (on each arm) overhead pressed kettlebell backward lunge
20 Russian twists
Get through the 3 rounds as quickly as possible. I was able to do it in under a half hour, leave me a comment and let me know how fast you were able to do it.
Remember that even when a workout is tough and it feels like you're not making a difference, the difference is that you still did it, even when you didn't want to or feel like it. That was me today. I pushed myself to still get it done, because that's just what you do. It's part of my routine, it's a habit and is as important to me as eating and sleeping. It wasn't always this way, but I hope I can help anyone reading this to prioritize exercise just as highly. Struggling is okay, giving up is not. Don't be afraid to struggle, that is how you get stronger.
I don't have much else to say today, I haven't been feeling well and really need to recharge my batteries. Going to spend some quality time with boyfriend and relax and I'll see you guys back here Friday for yoga.
