This first installment of Ease into Backbending takes you on a journey of opening up your quads, hips, hamstrings, and shoulders, in an effort to reduce tightness that restricts movement into backbends. Come improve your backbends with me now.
This 37 minute quick yoga stretching routine provides an amazingly deep stretch. A little longer than usual, but worth every extra second.
We're focusing mainly on the legs and hips, but the shoulders, abs, and back get some work in too. Work through this with me now and see how amazingly your muscles have opened up by the end.
This brand new yoga series has us working on our upper body and core strength, practicing arm balances, and stretching our hips, hamstrings, and shoulders. We will be increasing the challenge each week as we move closer to being able to do headstands and handstands.
I am unable to do either freestanding now at the beginning of this journey, so we are working on this together. As the series progresses we will move closer and hopefully be able, or at least be much closer, to successfully and confidently practicing these poses.
