Today's new yoga routine focuses on another area of the body that holds a massive amount of tension: the hips. Try this with me and see how much more relaxed you feel as your tension releases and your troubles melt away...
This routine takes just 45 minutes. It is:
3 sun salutations warrior 1 warrior 2 triangle tree pigeon to king pigeon wheel plough fish lizard wide standing forward bend with (or without) shoulder stretch bound angle garland splits cow face (variation) lying spinal twist supported corpse You will not regret making the time for this one, this provides such an amazing stretch.
This again was inspired in part by boyfriend's tight hips (lol he has many tight areas), but also by my soreness from working my legs heavily this week. I hope you enjoy it, let me know what you think.
This has been an interesting birthday week, to say the least. Looking forward to my birthday party tomorrow with family and boyfriend. Still have to bake my cake tonight, but I just want to lie down and relax for a while. No rest for the wicked though. Hope everyone has a great, relaxing weekend. Rest up, cause I'll see you back here next week for more high intensity workouts. I will also try to further elaborate on the rest of my week and the party in a post sometime next week.
