I spent some time working on a few more advanced yoga poses today, and included some in this new routine. Come try them out with me...
You need less than 40 minutes for this yoga routine. It is:
3 sun salutations warrior one warrior 2 side angle bound side angle one legged garland pose lord of the dance plough double toe hold locust deep squat into garland fish extended leg fish hug knees to chest bridge wheel seated forward bend lying spinal twist corpse
This was a really fun challenge for me, and I hope you enjoy working on it with me this weekend. It is a bit more challenging than the last few yoga routines I've put together, but it is still just as relaxing and feel-good as they were, possibly even moreso. You really earn it with this one. And if the more advanced poses are too challenging, don't worry about doing the modifications, I am always careful to provide them for most exercises. Do as much as you can, do not push yourself to overdo it, don't hurt yourself. Yoga is something you must ease into. With practice comes greater fluidity and flexibility in the movements. I greatly look forward to continuing to work on improving these and many other poses. I'm pretty excited about practicing yoga for what feels like the first time. I hope you'll join me in this practice.
