I wanted to do something different today. And I knew I wanted to do some stretching without putting together a long, elaborate yoga routine. So I came up with cardio stretch. I've done workouts of a similar nature, but there was too much stretching, too much downtime for it to really still be an effective, high intensity workout. I wanted this to still feel hard, and for me it did. Come try it out with me and let me know what you think...
This feel-good workout is 2 rounds of:
20 sumo jump squats 10 sets of 2 jump lunges and 2 high kicks 4 kneeling quad stretches 10 burpees 20 commando pushups forward bend shoulder stretch 10 v ups 10 knee hugs 5 cobra + downward dog This workout takes less than 20 minutes and is really fun. Try it with me!
I completed this workout in exactly 19 minutes, let me know how you did and if you had to modify. Also let me know if it was too easy and you wanted more of a challenge. I welcome any and all feedback. We're in this together. Just another few days 'til Christmas, stick with me. You definitely don't need anything extra to worry about this time of year, things are already so hectic, so I've taken the guesswork out. I'm keeping the workouts short and simple through the end of the month. Together we're staying healthy through the holidays, we're almost there, don't give up!
