So I finally got a yoga mat, and as cool as it looks, it actually works really well too. I've already noticed it gives me the ability to keep my hands and feet further apart in downward dog, as they are able to grip into the mat and don't slide, which enables me to get much deeper into the stretch. I could press so deeply through my hands and feet, I was able to touch my head to the ground. Awesome. It really is the little things. I'm excited to continue practicing.
