Yoga for Hips and Shoulders

Split Jickety Jacq
This hip and shoulder yoga routine gives such an incredible stretch in less than an hour, you will be shocked. This is definitely not one to miss. It has the perfect blend of everything and really works your body from head to toe. Come try it with me...
This routine expertly blends hip and shoulder opening poses. It is:
3 sun salutations
10 down dog pushups
warrior 2
chair to twisted chair
10 (on each leg) back lunge
lizard
extended puppy pose
standing wide leg forward bend with shoulder stretch
dolphin
plough
shoulderstand
wheel
pigeon to king pigeon
garland
splits
bow
tree
cow face
legs up the wall to wide
lying spinal twist
supported corpse
This routine took just over 45 minutes to complete and felt so amazing, it may be my favorite routine yet. The chair pose especially was unexpectedly intense, but very enjoyable because it really warmed up my body to be able to so comfortably get much deeper in a number of stretches. I'm sitting here needlessly stressing myself out because I still have some prep work to do for dinner with Jim tomorrow night. I've been overly tired this week from getting up early with my brother to make sure he goes to school. He's having similar difficulties that I did with school when I was his age. It's hard finding your path, I'm still working on it! Some of us are always seeking, but I'm hopeful he will figure things out soon. And I'm committed to helping him because I understand how he feels; no experience is exactly the same but I've been through similar struggles, and I just want him to be happy and successful. I want all of us to be happy and successful, and if there's anything I can ever do to help someone, no matter how great or small, I want to do that. Anyway, have a great weekend everyone; try to relax. I definitely need to do the same.
